Popular party neighborhoods include the Centro Historico where you will find cheap drinks and a mix of locals, La Merced has a square with quite a lot of action going for it, this includes bars and nightclubs and the famous pre-drinkers doing 'botellón', La Malagueta is the #1 beach in Malaga, it is lined with premium clubs and bars, always nice to give it a try. Last but not least, El Palo y Pedregalejo caters to the local students and all other youngsters, tucked away from the center it sits close to the University of Malaga campus.
