Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace region is famed for one of the best christmas market in Europe, its delectable choucroute but also its ancient and twisted half-timbered houses that became the icon of the city. Beyond the cultural aspects, the city also offers a decent night out to its visitors, even though it might be underwhelming for some as a city of this size cannot compete with the largest metropolises. Unsurprisingly, the party is concentrated in the Krutenau distrcit at a stone's throw from the University Campus and caters primarily to students.
