Nottingham is a rather small city but yet you can still party 7 nights a week. Weekdays parties are pretty wild and usually frequented by students. With the best nights being on Wednesday and Thursday. On the weekends, the crowd is more mature and sophisticated but mainly locals. Here is a selection of the best clubs in Nottingham!

Rock City

Rock City erupted in Nottingham back in 1980. Since then it has been the flagship venue in the UK for Live Music and Club Nights.

The venue is made of 1 massive room upstairs for rock and indie music, with a mezzanine running along the perimeter, where you can overlook at the crowd and chill on the booths. 2 additional rooms can be found downstaires where they mainly play metal, hard rock and commercial tunes.

The most popular night is on Thursday, where a hoard of students come to celebrate the coming weekend. Enjoy a 2-4-1 Drinks all night long!

Unit 13

Unit 13 was designed and built during lockdown in 2021. It boasts an dark and low-key industrial basement warehouse space consisting of 2 rooms of music

The main room is multi tiered auditorium with industrial elements featuring cutting edge festival production, lighting design and staging. The music ranges from HouseTech to DnB but also Disco.

If you are more into R&B, Hip Hop & Grime head to the second room which is equipped with LED walls and cutting-edge sound system

Pryzm

Pryzm is the biggest club in Nottingham, boasting a whopping 9 bars and the capacity to host up to 3000 guests! The venue packs a mindblowing lighting setup in addition to a sound system that will shake your entire core! If you fancy a VIP experience why not hire one of the exclusive VIP booth and dance the night away?

Choose Pryzm for all the house and EDM you can muster, Curve for commercial R’n’B and Vinyl for the pop party.

Stealth

Stealth is Nottingham’s epicentre for clubbing.

A reference for late night clubbing and for all music lovers out there.

Starring nights from nightlife legends like dollop, Fiftyone27, and Stealth Vs Rescued this venue has seen the likes of international DJ talent Bondax, Eats Everything, Dusky and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Inviting such names has built Stealth’s reputation as one of the city’s biggest and on point clubs always at the forefront of house music movements.

Having been on the block since 2004, consider Stealth your seasoned go to for a big night on the dance floor, under strobes and fist pumping to your hearts content.

Ink

 

A special party at Ink Nottingham

 

Ink club is a bit of a maze, with a lot staircases, rooms and bars, you will never stop exploring the inside of the venue. It boasts 8 Bars and 4 rooms spread accross different levels.

The main room is equipped with the worlds most advanced light and sound system paired with our resident DJ’s, this room has been created to provide an unbelievable experience with DJ’s playing the best in UK and International House as well as your favourite club tunes.

Another room called Neon, known for it’s cutting-edge LED matrix ceiling and state-of-the-art video wall. This will create the ultimate clubbing experience where you may well loose your mind whilst listenning to the biggest beats of current UK House and Bass and Garage scene.

Ocean is an institution is Nottingham, it is the most famous club amongst students as it offers the wildest nights in Nottingham. It is a 100% Only student venue that only opens during the student terms. From September to June. If you are going down to ocean, you must wear fancy dress and the more ridiculous or outrageous it is, the better.

The most famous anedoct about Ocean is when the BayWatch song comes on, you will see the crowd take off their top and spin it over their head. Yes, this is real!

Unashamedly non-pretentious, the music is mainly commercial, you can also expect cheesy tunes all night long. From nights to nights, you will listen to the same music over and over again.

Propaganda [Permanently Closed]

 

Propaganda the best gay club in Nottingham

 

Propaganda is located in the heart of the Lace Market, and it is Nottingham’s main gay venue. It tends to get very busy and attracts a varied though mostly younger crowd. It is a go-to venue after 3AM as most of the other big club close.

There is only 1 room with dancing poles on podium, the music is mainly commercial.

Pom pom [Rebranded to Unit 13]
