QUEST MASTER (Dungeon Synth; Australia)
The new album "Sword & Circuity" marks a significant departure from Lord Gordith's seminal back catalogue of RPG and classic video game inspired dungeon synth, which still remain some of the best records in their class. Unlike these records however, S&C is a gloriously lush and immensely ethereal affair, diving deep into 80's synthesiser music. These songs possess a magick that will surely grip you with soaring synthesizers and captivating melodies. This enchantment more than makes up for the shorter than usual run time. You will be playing this on repeat over and over again.
ARCANA LITURGIA (Italia)
Arcana Liturgia nasce nel lontano 1997, pioniere in Italia di una scena del tutto nuova che si verrà a sviluppare solamente molti anni dopo.
Sulla scia di artisti del calibro di Mortiis, Summoning, Pazuzu e Cernunnos Woods, Arcana Liturgia realizza 3 demo tape tra il 1997 e il 1999. Perfetto mix di atmosfere epiche, oscure e avvolgenti, la musica di Arcana Liturgia è volta a trasportare
l’ascoltatore in un altro mondo.
Dopo uno stop durato molti anni, il progetto riprende vita nel 2019 con l’album “Tales of an ancient world” e da allora, album dopo album ha conquistato gli appassionati del genere Dungeon Synth. Collaborando con numerose etichette discografiche del settore quali Gondolin Records, Dark Age Productions e Out Of Season il progetto è progredito, album dopo album fino a divenire il progetto Dungeon Synth più importante in Italia.
Nel 2023 Arcana Liturgia ha avuto il piacere di esibirsi al Northeast Dungeon Siege festival in Massachussets (USA), primo e più importante festival di genere.
Tra le prossime esibizioni programmate per il 2024/25 ci sono il Mazmorra Arcana Festival (Spagna), Albion Dungeon Fest (UK) e Echoes from the Dungeon festival (Netherlands).
L’ultimo album “The Wizard” è uscito in formato digitale ad Ottobre 2024 ed è prevista l’edizione fisica su Forsaken Relics Records.
